Post-Rehab / Return to Sport

Whether you're coming back from surgery, working through chronic pain, or rehabbing a frustrating setback, our goal is the same. We want to help you move well, feel strong, and stay that way.

At Landow Performance, we take a thoughtful and individualized approach to post-rehab and return to sport training. We combine our detailed assessments, smart progressions, and coaching experience to build lasting physical resilience. Whether you're an athlete or not, you’ll get training tailored to your unique individual circumstances.

For Athletes: getting you back in the game, stronger

There's a big gap between finishing your physical therapy and being fully prepared to handle the demands of your sport.

We specialize in bridging that gap by rebuilding your movement one layer at a time: foot strength and ankle control to set the stage, trunk stability to transfer force, then progressive speed, plyometric, and change-of-direction work with smart loading progression. Deceleration and force absorption get as much attention as acceleration, because stopping safely is half the battle.

We advance only when you show mastery, not when the calendar says you “should” be ready. This results in better movement efficiency, withstanding fatigue, and stepping back on the field with confidence that your body will perform in the most critical moments.

Please note that we do not accept medical insurance. All sessions are private pay.

For Everyday Performers: building a pain-free life

Have you finished physical therapy after your surgery or injury and now you're wondering... what next?

You might not be chasing a Division 1 scholarship or a pro contract, but you still need a body that handles the twists and bends of everyday life. That could mean anything from dominating your rec soccer league to hiking on weekends or running a 5k.

Our post-rehab process starts with listening first. We want to know about your history, your goals, and how pain shows up during your everyday activities. We combine that information with a thorough movement screen to spot the mobility gaps, strength imbalances, and unconscious movement compensations that may be overloading your joints.

Training then follows a clear, steady progression: gentle mobility work to calm irritated tissues, targeted strength for the surrounding muscles, and practical drills that teach your body to manage force without flaring old injuries. Sessions are “dose smart,” meaning that we build up the challenge, then back off to let your body tissues adapt and get stronger.

Along the way, we coach you on simple cues and lifestyle tweaks (like better foot mechanics when you walk, and smarter recovery between workouts) so you leave each session not just feeling better but understanding why you feel better. Our goal for your is the same as it is for our pro athletes: building long-term health that lets you do what you love, without pain or hesitation.

Please note that we do not accept medical insurance. All sessions are private pay.
