Youth Baseball Performance Training in Denver

Colorado baseball has a distinct shape to the year. The high school season sprints from late February into May, summer belongs to club and Legion ball, fall ball carries into late October, and then the sport goes quiet for about three months. What a player does with that quiet stretch usually decides what kind of spring he has. Our baseball performance training gives youth and high school players a plan for it, built by coaches who have spent their careers preparing athletes for the highest levels of sport.

What performance training adds for a baseball player

Speed comes first, because baseball pays for it everywhere from the 60-yard dash at a showcase to the ground ball your shortstop turns into an out. Baseball speed is almost entirely acceleration, and our athletes learn sprint mechanics rep by rep before loading them against the 1080 Sprint, where progress shows up as a measurable change rather than a feeling.

Rotational power comes second. Every swing and every throw starts at the ground and travels up through the hips and trunk before the hands ever get involved, so we train and test that chain directly. Proteus Motion, the same rotational power training device used throughout professional baseball, gives each athlete a baseline number, and our Hawkin Dynamics dual force plates profile the lower half underneath it. Retesting at the end of a training block shows exactly what changed.

Durability ties it together. A young thrower's arm decelerates under enormous stress every single rep, and our strength work deliberately emphasizes the capacity to absorb force, the quality Loren Landow built his reputation on while developing return-to-sport protocols at the Steadman Hawkins Clinic. Athletes from MLB rosters have trained in this building alongside the NFL and UFC names on the wall, and the system those pros trust is the same one your 12-year-old will learn at his own scale and pace.

We work alongside your skills coaches

We do not offer hitting or pitching lessons, and we think that division of labor is the right way to approach baseball training. Your skills coaches refine the swing and the delivery, while we build the athlete engine underneath: more force to work with, better movement to express it, and the work capacity to handle a long season. If your player trains year-round with a hitting or pitching instructor, this fits beside it instead of on top of it, and we account for throwing volume when we plan his training week. MLB and USA Baseball's Pitch Smart guidelines exist because young arms are being asked to do more than ever, and everything we do off the mound is designed to make that load easier to carry.

Getting started

Youth and high school players ages 8 to 17 train in coached groups organized by age and level, and the schedule is on our youth training page. Players who need something individualized (a pitcher managing a heavy club schedule, an athlete pointing at a specific showcase, a college player home for the summer) work with us through private 1-on-1 training, which begins with a complimentary assessment.

Where we are

We're in Centennial, a short drive from Highlands Ranch, Lone Tree, Parker, Littleton, and Greenwood Village, in the middle of one of the most competitive baseball corridors in the state. Cherry Creek and Regis Jesuit met in back-to-back 5A championship series, and programs like Grandview, Mountain Vista, Arapahoe, and Chaparral make the regional brackets a gauntlet. If your player competes anywhere in the south Denver metro, the standard in our building will feel familiar.
