Christopher Jarmon

Sports Performance Coach
B.A., C.S.C.S., FRCms

Chris Jarmon, CSCS, has been a performance coach at Landow Performance since 2017. After internships with UConn Football and University of Denver Athletics, he joined LP and has since worked with football athletes, high school competitors, and adults who want lasting physical transformation. He co-authored All-Pro Performance Training with Loren Landow and co-presented at the 2019 NSCA National Conference on blood flow restriction training for performance and injury rehabilitation.

A Boulder, Colorado native and three-sport athlete at Boulder High School, Chris played offensive line at Grinnell College, where he was a team captain and earned All-Midwest Conference honors. In the year after his football career ended, he lost over 100 pounds. It was a stubborn process of figuring out what actually works through trial and error, then learning the science behind why it worked. That experience shows up in every conversation he has with a client who's starting from a place they're not proud of, because he's been there himself.

Before finding his way to coaching, Chris spent four years at ESPN working live broadcasts for Monday Night Football, the NFL Draft, the X Games, and the 2014 FIFA World Cup. It was a career most people would hold onto, but somewhere along the way he realized he cared more about what the athletes were doing to prepare than what was being put on television.

Whether he's working with a high schooler learning to decelerate properly or an adult client rediscovering what their athletic body is capable of, Chris meets people where they are and builds them toward where they need to be.
