Christopher Jarmon
Sports Performance Coach
B.A., C.S.C.S., FRCms
Chris Jarmon, CSCS, has been a performance coach at Landow Performance since 2017. After internships with UConn Football and University of Denver Athletics, he joined LP and has since worked with football athletes, high school competitors, and adults who want lasting physical transformation. He co-authored All-Pro Performance Training with Loren Landow and co-presented at the 2019 NSCA National Conference on blood flow restriction training for performance and injury rehabilitation.
After playing offensive line at Grinnell College, where he captained the team for two seasons and earned All-Midwest Conference honors, Chris lost over 100 pounds. No program, no gimmick. Just a stubborn process of figuring out what actually works through trial and error, then learning the science behind why it worked. That experience shows up in every conversation he has with a client who's starting from a place they're not proud of, because he's been there himself.
Chris then spent four years at ESPN producing live broadcasts for Monday Night Football, the NFL Draft, the X Games, and the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Somewhere along the way he realized he cared more about what the athletes were doing to prepare than what was being put on television.
Now ten years into his coaching career, the thing that still gets him is watching someone do something they didn't think they could do six months ago. That never stops being the whole point.
